    Create custom installation ISO

    Hi all,

I am new to Ubuntu and hope to get some help with following issue:

I would like to create a custom installation image and include some configurations and software in it by default, like:

1 - set some partitions automatically
2 - set ip, hostname etc
3 - include some installations default like, nodered, mysql etc
4 - have a custom image while booting OS

Any idea how can I achieve this ?

    Thank you all.

    Re: Create custom installation ISO

You could start by studying the various installers that Linux Developers use to make the operating systems go through the install process and how they work. Just an idea--

    Like Calamares for example.
    https://calamares.io/

Ubiquity is the installer that Ubuntu uses:- Anaconda is the installer that Fedora uses.

New to Ubuntu and the goal of a custom ISO = Quite a challenge
Anyway, this utility https://github.com/PJ-Singh-001/Cubic may help in your quest.

Oops - I had not opened the Linux Mint link in post 2 - also refers to Cubic.
