Hi,
I installed Xubuntu on my Toshiba Satellite U505-S2950. Its a great distro, very easy to use compared to the distro I have been using.
There is one problem in that the cpu temperatures are up pretty high when using the Xubuntu. When I use my other linux distro, the cpu fan comes on and the temperature is controlled to around 40-45 degrees C.
In Xubuntu, the fan never comes on and the cpu temperature climbs to around 73 degrees C.
In this other thread regarding Ubuntu or Kubuntu, it talks about setting Dynamic CPU power control, but I can't find a way to do this in Xubuntu.

Can someone advise me how to do this?
Also, any other ideas about how to fix this problem would be welcome.
Thanks
